BLOGGING AND MAKING MONEY ONLINE

The internet has given people the freedom to express themselves and create content that is interesting to the public and a means of earning money. With an active social media presence, you can market and sell your personal blog or make extra income if you have more than one blog on the web. In this article, we will discuss some ways to monetize an existing blog, using ads and affiliate links. This guide is for bloggers who do not have any other website.

WEBSITE                                                                                                   If you are looking for a way to start a blog, it's quite easy to get started with hosting through Google AdSense

Google allows thousands of websites into their ad network, allowing them to promote their products and brands without having to show adverts on search engines. As well as promoting your own sites, you can find many opportunities to promote others' blogs on Google AdSense too. If you don't want to worry so much about how much space you need on your site, then your blog can be hosted in just a few seconds. To start, visit https://www.google.com/adsense/start and upload your blog. Once uploaded, submit a sitemap, and click "Create" or select a template page template.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       You can add plugins and custom code, however, you don't have to. After this process is completed, you can choose either a free plan or paid plan, or both (free and paid). If you choose a Free plan, there are no limits on what pages you can include. However, most bloggers recommend using a Paid plan since I did so. Plus, they have a higher limit on the number of domains you can use. When setting up a new account, Google Ad sense charges you $150 per day for access to their advertising servers, which makes uploading blogs a bit more difficult. But by investing a little time upfront, you can enjoy the perks of Ad-sense and still keep your sites private.

                                                                          AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing means offering services to bloggers who have created something similar to yours and helping you earn commissions when someone lands on a link to buy your products. Let me explain, because even before the advent of the Internet, if you wanted to advertise anything on search engine results pages, then you would simply have to pay for every result you got. Now, in the past year, Google has launched Affiliate Programs for bloggers who want a better option. They have three key categories to choose from: -

Blogger Sponsored Links: These links come straight from bloggers’ blogs, but still require approval by Penguin and Penguin+1 because they contain affiliate links. There are 4 levels of blog sponsor links in each category - Gold, Platinum, Silver, and Bronze. For example, if a blog called “How to Make a Lot of Money Online” has a sponsored post with a link selling an eBook "How to Start a Successful Business." Your blog could have an offer to review books such as How to Start a Business or Mastering Email Marketing to improve the sales of its readers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                It would have an incentive to encourage the reading of the product that it was advertising, and it could bring readers to the same page with an offer like, “Get FREE BOOK! Just sign up and become a member!" So, if they made an eBook, and they had 2 links to promote the book – 1 link coming from another blogger (with whom they make money) and 1 from theirs, the reader only needs 1 link to click, to continue reading the post and purchase the eBook. That’s right! The reader never left the blog page. All of these Amazon affiliates work off the back of the fact that everyone wants to know who sells what.

Blogger Submissions: There are two types - Blogger Submission and Blogger Donations. Each type comes with specific rules and requirements. For example, you could set up a blog to showcase certain topics such as health food. Then, you decide to write a blog post about healthy eating. To show that you’ve researched the topic, you’ll need to submit at least 500 words on your blog about the subject, including an exact match between the keywords you’ll use in your post and the words used in your title. At the end of the post, all readers will have to submit a donation to help out or support your efforts to increase readership through donations. For instance, a blog called “Eat Well Essay” could look something like this: I’m going to write about the importance of doing exercise, not a diet.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             What I mean by saying that is that readers must subscribe to eat well essays services, and they must donate at least one dollar or two dollars. Basically, readers must follow a blog on Medium, and after subscribing, they should submit at least 1 donation. This doesn’t come cheap, though. You could spend 1000 words and you can charge upwards of 6% or 10%. But it does pay you if you find that people are willing to give $100 a month to watch their progress on weight loss. On top of that, you can generate traffic. An effective blog, regardless of where you’re coming from, will always generate traffic and sales.

The best part about being an influencer is you gain authority over those who read the same material as you write it. This gives you immense power over them and sets the agenda for how and where you live your life. It also helps you to be able to grow at ease around people who share your ideas or opinions about things. By focusing on growth rather than perfectionism, you have greater chances of success. Some popular examples include Kevin Systrom, Mark Cuban, JK Rowling, Brad Paisley, Oprah Winfrey, and even Donald Trump with his Twitter.
