What kind of diet plan are you currently following?

We suggest having calorie counting goals, but they don't always work to lose weight. This is because some foods are calorically dense, so adding them to foods like pasta, bread, etc., may not result in the same effect on weight loss as cutting these calories out. So we want to emphasize that keeping an eye on your daily calorie intake is key to success. However, keep in mind that when working with the right weight loss coach, we suggest having realistic calorie deficit goals, which means keeping your goal below your current weight.


What diet plan are you planning this time around?

The best diet program is something that works for both beginners and everyone else. Keep things simple, while still providing all the necessary support to allow you to achieve your dreams. As for me, I've chosen to go with the Mediterranean diet plan, and since then I've managed to shed nearly 10 pounds.


What are my tips to prepare your diet for effective results?

If you're already aware of a certain nutrient or protein deficiency, try to think about this deficiency at each stage of calorie consumption. Think about this for example; instead of drinking water, if you have coffee every morning, you'll end up drinking more than normal.

Once you realize that this is a problem, you can see that a large portion of your total water intake needs to come from consuming foods high in sugar. To avoid this is by make sure you drink lots of fresh fruit juices, soups for lunch, and even vegetables during the evening. Try a low-carb and low-fat version such as frozen yogurt! It tastes great and is extremely filling!


What meals should be avoided as often as possible? Why?

Have you ever thought about whether you really wanted beef or chicken steak or salmon? We get that it is a huge part of your diet, but we wouldn't recommend it during lunchtime. Another popular meal that should be avoided at all costs? Pork chops. Even though there are many kinds of pork chops out there, they tend to be tasteless. We would try substituting pork chunks for those big slices of meat.

What snacks are important for your diet?

I've also noticed that one of the worst breakfast foods are cereals, like Froot Loops, Cheetos, Reese's Fudge-Banana Frosted Flakes, etc., because I found myself constantly reaching for them throughout the day. They are very convenient, as they are packed with nutrients that are beneficial for one's health. Therefore, try to eat snacks with healthy ingredients. These include whole milk yogurt with nuts, avocado toast with blueberries and carrots, Greek Yogurt, oatmeal,  peanut butter, berries, and nuts. Be careful not to exceed your hunger! It's okay to have a bit of a snack between meals, but remember not to snack too much, because you may feel hungry again.
